Makes sense, but imo this is a compromise too far - airflow isn't such an issue on v1 that it needed changing and the stamped holes definitely lend a much more premium look/feel than mesh.

Eh? Can't say that the anodised finish on side and front is any different on the v1 - or if it is, then it's barely noticeable. A paint finish would definitely put me off v2 completely - in my experience paint always looks rubbish after a few years no matter how "premium" it's claimed to be

To be honest, I thought that was an issue until I tried an NH-D12L in my C4- it was just far too noisy at full load. I put a 280 AIO in there now and it's perfect.

Pre-orders already sold out. Shame - I'd have grabbed one for another build.

Having built my system in one of the few that got made, I'm not surprised. It's almost as if there's a gap in the market for someone actually prepared to become a reliable supplier for a good quality, well-designed itx case.

SFX-L fits in the V1, no reason it wouldn't in V2.

So this price wise this isn't going to be any cheaper than v1 because flatpack has been sidelined? I like the change of IO location and mATX compatibility gives wider appeal and scope for cheaper builds given the cost of ITX nowadays I suppose, but there could have been another run of v1 sold...

What BIOS you trying to flash? I wouldn't flash the beta BIOSes, I have this board and I'm still using the last full release (1.28). Remove anything not needed to flash - drives/NVMe and GPU You can try ASRock support - they were great when I was having issues with it not recognising sensors -...

Dan has said that he's aiming for Q2 next year, but given past experience, don't count on this being reliable. If you really want one, the only way is to put in a pre-order when they appear on supplier websites and hope, but get on with your build in something else in the meantime.

v1 is sold out and Dan has already stated that no new v1 will be produced.
