METALFISH MetalGear Plus
4600g AMD Processor
Gigabyte A520I AC
Thermalright AXP90-X36 Cooler
2x Kingston Fury Beast 8gb 3200mhz
Kingston NV2 500gb NVMe SSD
RGeek Pico PSU
RGeek 12V 160W Pico PSU or Rgeek 12V 250W Pico PSU
This case doesn't have space for a conventional power supply and I'm worried these Pico PSUs can damage my components, which is the only thing keeping me from building this mini PC. But I don't have many options, I'm in Brazil and if I buy anything over 50 dollars I have to pay over 90% taxes. I'd get Mini-Box 160-XT but Amazon charges an 80-dollar shipping and import fees deposit to Brazil on a 50 dollar product.

Do all BIOS versions of this motherboard support the 4600g? It says since F2 BIOS version but I don't know if that's the earliest. How do I choose what Power brick to I use with these PSUs?

Hi!

Rgeek is fine, I have used the 250W in a couple of builds (and also the 450W).

Don't use the 160W though, you will have a much better headroom with the 250W version especially since your build doesn't have a dedicated GPU.

Best of luck with your build!

I don't think I can edit posts yet. I meant What power brick are you using with the 250W? Is 12V 120W 10A enough for my system?

Whether 12V 120W is enough will be highly dependent on the brick quality. Overall max load should be around 100W in your build, but transients can be a problem. I recommend you getting a 19A (192W) brick. It's very common and cheap (at least in EU).

It all depends on how tight of a budget you have.

On the other hand, if you are going to use a 120W brick, there is no point is going 250W Pico, the 160W Pico version will have enough headroom.
