I think it can be even shorter than this. In fact I think a very minimal L will work, so as long as the vertice is thick enough.

I've printed and tested a version that has a thicker side bracket and where that side bracket is cut shot to remove the part bellow the first row of screws.
This version does not sag and works very well mechanically. Also the face of the screw holes is flat.
I am printing a new moded version whose top part ( the one with the two big holes ) is significantly shorter. It doesn't have to be that big I think. Will test it and comment.

- The original part you designed does not work well with pastic, as the vertice takes all the load and the piece starts bending outwards at the vertice.
- most of the side bracket can be removed as it does not play any mechanical function. All the mechanical load from holding the PSU straight is taken from the top screws up. So, from a space saving point of view, it can be removed.
- I also think the top bracket can be shortened alot. I am testing this.

- I still have no idea how the bracket secures to the case. :)

Hopefully you can redesign the bracket with these findings in mind. :)
These are great details! Thanks for testing and iterating @turboleak - hoping that the next version works well and I'm dying to find out how this bracket is intended to mount to the case 🤣

NICE!! Once you have something you like you can let me know the dimensions and I'll adjust our model and upload it :) My only concern with this design is that the PSU screws we include are 11.11mm long, so if the bracket is very thick the screws many not reach the PSU.

As for how to secure it to the case, I'm thinking a "slide on" style mounting like in your first pic, the PSU bars are 8mm thick, so if we have something like 7.9mm plastic bit it should be snug?

Edit: also good to point out, the screws are countersunk, so it's 11.11mm total (0.4375 in). The screw head is 1.9mm high, so this may matter if they are not used with countersunk screw holes.

Will also try this taking into consideration the 11.11mm screw size. Is that size the whose screw including the head?

Currently have a few NANOQ S in Carbon and Graphite, but no NANOQ R. However, if somebody cancels their case will become available. If you're after the R you can contact me in say 1 week :) If you want an S, then we can do it now.

A bit further forward, cancelled orders will automatically become available on the website.

Speaking of which, the future was closer than I thought, the possibility to buy free spots on the current batch is now available, please let me know if it’s confusing. I’m thinking of adding a loading circle while the available units load.

Amazing stuff!! The only things is that the holes must be the spacing I had in the original file, since the PSU rails (on which this part will slide on) are fixed distance from each other 😅

I ask as I'm out of the country for 3 weeks at the end of May and don't want my precious case to get stolen haha!

Probably mid-late May, you can email us and put it on temporary hold until you are sure you can receive it. A lot of parts are finished, some still in production, some in transit, things proceed according to plan :)

NANOQ R question: What's the max CPU cooler clearance when used together with 4090 Strix and 4090 Suprim?

I am not exactly certain, because I don’t know exactly how much spine shift can be done with those cards. Is the spine can be shifted 1/2 slots and still fit the cards you will gain an additional 10.16mm for the CPU side (20.32/2).

I just bought a used booster cell. Still waiting that thing to be delivered.

Do i actually need a fan splitter? Because my B650EI Asus only has 3 fan headers. 2 have already been used for the fans and the rest for aio pump.

And is it also possible to use splitter for the power button? So i can also use the power button on my borg.

Logistically, is it better for a GPU waterblock to have intake/outtake on the long-side or the short back-side?

Hydro X Series XG7 vs Bitspower Classic VGA Water Block for GeForce RTX 3080 for example.

I'm mainly interested in side radiator mount for Nanoq R. I think this case screams "build a custom loop with dual rad" :)

You probably need a fan slipper :) You don’t need to connect the power button from the Booster Cell if you don’t want, so you can absolutely you the power button on your BORG. Let me know if I understood your question correctly :)
